Posters/Demo Instructions

The CICE-2012 encourages the submition of poster or demo proposals. The poster or demo duration can be a day or throughout the conference. All the accepted posters and demos will be included in the conference proceedings.

Posters/Demo Submissions:

The poster and demo should be submitted as an abstract of not more than 500 words to posters@ciceducation.org

Registration:

  • At least one poster/demo author should register.

  • One author's registration can count for up to two poster/demos.

  • If the poster/demo presenter plans to attend only for ONE day to present, he/she can register for ONE-day registration.

  • Please visit the CICE-2012 website for registration information.

 

Poster Presentations:

  • Final copy of the POSTER should be submitted in Power Point format for display and for the website update (not more than 20 slides) by February 27, 2012. The slides should include: Title, Author's name, Introduction, Aims, Methods, Results and Conclusions.
  • An updated poster summary (PDF format) in two-column conference format that is up to 3 pages long should be submitted to be included in the conference proceedings (Template).
  • The slides/abstract will be made available online via CICE web page.
  • Please submit, the final version of your poster to posters@ciceducation.org. [If two PDF files are being submitted, please submit a single ZIP or Tar-gzipped file]
  • The conference will provide the following:
    • A 6 foot by 18 inch table, a chair, Poster Easel/Board (4 feet by 8 feet), 22 inch by 28 inch foam board on which the presenters can stand, and Wireless Network Connectivity.
    • Authors can arrange posters as A4/letter size copies of PPT slides, two 2'x4' posters, etc.
    • The conference will provide power outlets. Demo presenters are responsible for getting their needed voltage conversion adapters, network hubs, etc.
    • The demo teams are responsible for bringing any needed equipment to the conference.
 

Demo Presentations:

  • An updated demo summary (PDF format) in two-column conference format, up to 3 pages long may be submitted directly to demo@ciceducation.org by February 27, 2012. The summary will be made available via CICE web page. The demo teams are responsible for bringing any needed equipment to the conference.
  • The demo teams are responsible for bringing any needed equipment to the conference.
 

Note:

The CICE do not have facility for authors to prepare their posters on site, so it is the responsibility of the presenter to prepare their poster before arriving at the conference venue.
